543.) President Barack Obama is very concerned by the price of gas, so much so that he has advised individuals to buy vehicles that do not exist. So concerned is he about the price of gas he as launched a commission to find out if the evil oil companies are sticking us at the pump so that they can line thier evil wallets with blood money. Clearly someone is doing something illegal, after all the oil companies are making record profits. While investigating the cause for the high prices President Barack Obama is taking serious actions to help ease the pain at the pump for you and I. For instance Shell Oil has spent five years and $4,000,000,000.00 (4 billion dollars) to develop plans to explore and drill for oil of the coast of Alaska, the EPA however has seen fit to deny shell a permit. Their reasoning for denying the permit, The Arctic drill would somehow harm the nearby residents. After the BP spill this is something that should be considered, how would the 245 individuals of Kaktovik village, the most remote village in the United States, be affected by the drilling over 70 miles away. So removing a supply of crude from the market, costing an oil giant $4,000,000,000.00,what affect is that going to have on the oil prices? Do you think that they are going to go up or are they going to go down? Further more President Obama has supported efforts to remove $4,000,000,000.00 in government subsidies from the oil companies, is that going to make cost go up, or down? President Obama, and progressives in general, want us to think the answer to that question will be, down. The government is going to play the role of a parent to an unrully child. The oil company does something that the government does not like, so it punish it. The only way to get out of trouble is to comply to the will of the federal government. The truth is oil companies, just like any other company, will not take a hit in their profit they will pass the increase in cost on to you.  Now I will not stand here and deny that oil companies are earning a record amount of dollars, but you would be foolish to think that means that they are making a record profit.  You see oil is traded on the dollar, no mater what country you are in, what currency you use, when you buy oil you use the dollar. Oil companies expect X amount of value in trade for a barrel of crude, you must pay X value for that barrel of crude.  The value of the dollar is not set in stone, it changes, thanks to the actions of President Obama and the Fed (aka massive spending and quantitative easing) the value of the dollar has plumited. So in order to buy a barrel of oil value at X, it used to take lets say a dollar, but now thanks to massive inflation it takes four dollars (these numbers are made up, to make a point they do not reflect the actual rate of change).   The Wall Street Journal reported, and I qoute, “A weaker dollar hits strained consumers by raising the cost of imported oil, as exporters seek higher dollar-denominated crude prices to offset the dollar’s waning value”. So yes it would appear that the oil companies are making record profits, but in truth they are mearly making record dollars. Don’t worry though President Barack Obama is looking into the price gouging by the evil oil companies. He doesn’t want high gas prices. I mean afterall when he was running for president he was asked if high gas prices could help us, and then Senator Obama said, ” I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment. The fact that this is such a shock to American pocketbooks is not a good thing. But if we take some steps right now to help people make the adjustment, first of all by putting more money into their pockets, but also by encouraging the market to adapt to these new circumstances more quickly, particularly US automakers, then I think ultimately, we can come out of this stronger and have a more efficient energy policy than we do right now.” Like I said, he clearly is going to take steps to actually bring down the price of gas because he doesn’t like high gas prices anymore than you or I do.

544.) President Obama rails against oil subsidies given to US oil companies, subsidies to American companies is bad. However he will trip and over foot to help out forgein energy companies. He gave $1.6 billion of your dollars to China for wind mills, and he gave another $2 billion of your dollars to the development of Brazilian oil companies. So giving $3.6 billion dollars of our money that we give the government to opperate on, to a communist government is okay, but you damn well better not give it to an American company.  Redistrubuting our wealth, so that the Brazilians can have cheap oil, thank you President Obama I can sleep so much bettter now knowing that my son won’t be able to afford to get to work but the communists in China and Brazil can.

  1. 543)  has he not yet realized that markets drive the price of oil?  Of course, this is driven by speculation, which is in turn driven by the manipulations of OPEC.  And of course, there’s nothing he will do to upset those people…Also, as the dollar drops in value, the price of oil goes up.  As well as, if the price of oil goes up, it actually devalues the dollar.  This is because around the world, oil is traded on the US dollar.544)  And don’t forget that Soros is highly invested in those Brazilian oil companies…
