Job Report, Spending,

560.) Amongst the armed forces, both veterans and those who continue to fight and die for their country, President Barack Obama ranks lower than he does amongst civilians, only about 37% approve of the job that the President is doing.

561.) President Barack Obama is being very generous with our grand children’s money again. He and seven other members of the G8 have decided to give $20,000,000,000.00 (20 billion) dollars to Egypt and Tunsina to help foster the “arab spring”.  I have yet to find out how much of this money will be coming from the United States tax payers. The report that I read said that they would be giving $20,000,000,000.00 dollars, which would include 3.5 billion euros. Are those Euro’s in addition to the dollars being given, or are they part of the overall package? President Obama thinks that money just falls from the sky, blown in on a mystic breeze from the east, so I really doubt that the American involvment in this rather large sum of money will be a small one. I am sorry I cannot be more accurate on how much of this burden President Obama plans to shackle our grand children to.  President Obama wants to “cut” the deficit, but he keeps racking up the credit card. He is asking the legislator to grant him more authority to borrow money, and in the same breath he prooves that he has no intention of cuting the debt, just barrowing and spending more.

562.) This is an very interesting story that almost slipped under the radar, due to the disasters in the mid west, the Presidents crucial trip to Ireland, and of course the visit of the Israeli Prime Minister. President Obama constantly hammers anyone who says that the country has an spending problem, he will insist that the problem is not how much he and the progressives are spending, but rather that the country has an income problem. He will tell you we must tax the evil rich. We have to raise taxes or the country will fall into oblivion, tax and spend, the Obama narrative. This obviously is not news, lets roll back the clocks to the beginning of the President’s first year in office, the heavens where falling down around us, the oceans were threating to swallow up the east coast, the only way that we could ensure the survivial of our nation was to spend almost a trillion dollars in “stimulus”.  Again the porkulus bill is not news in and of itself, but when you link President Obama’s love of tax hikes, and the porkulus bill together a great story appears.  The AP released a story on May 23 that discribed a shocking, trueling shocking story.  Thousands of recipients of porkulus money, 3,700 to be exact, owed the government millions in back taxes. In all these contractors and non-profit groups recieved $24,000,000.00 dollars from the porkulus package, and the sum total of their debt to the United States Government comes in at $757,000,000.00 as of the end of September 30, 2009.  Now I know there will be those out there, those progressive zelots that will say things along the lines of “there where over 60,000 contractors who recieved funds, the President can’t stop all the tax cheats.” To address that concern,  35 percent of the back taxes were from debts incurred as far back as 2003, when someone who has owed money for six years comes to the door with their hand out, wouldn’t it make sense to turn them away before they get to roll around in the tax payers money? This case highlights the problem behind most of President Obama’s philosophies when it comes to getting legislation passed. When you ram rod massive bills worth a trillion dollars through the legislator and attack anyone who stands against it, you get flaws, you create cracks, you allow croocks and cheats to be able to reep the rewards. So tax and spend, I guess I was wrong, President Obama isn’t always so keen on the tax part.

563.) “The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States” under this provision in the United States Consitution the supreme law of the land, congress not the executive branch is granted the power to declare war.   The war powers act grants the President the power to wage war for up to 60 days. President Obama has been using this power to wage his little, none-war war, in libya. He had 60 days to wage war, before getting approval from congress. Well 60 days has come and gone, and the President hasn’t stopped military action.  He is now in violation of the law.

  1. No national politician is serious about cutting spending.  If so, the GOP wouldn’t even entertain the idea of raising the debt ceiling.  I’m sick of seeing them say “well, we’re not going to raise it until we see a solid plan to cut spending.”  If there’s a solid plan to cut spending, then there would be no need to raise the debt ceiling.  They all need to stop spending us into oblivion.Saying we have an income problem is completely juveneille.  When a family goes over their budget, do they sit there and say “Junior, we don’t make enough money, get off your 9 year old arse and get a job!”  No, they don’t.  They cut where they can.  When they balance their budget, THEN they worry about other ways to pull in money, such as selling items, or second jobs.  Crying over an income shortage is nothing short of evidence of pure greed.”Oh, but it’s not a war, it’s an operation and support mission…”

  2. @grim_truth – Paul Ryan seems to be fairly serious, but nonone will back him out of fear that the progressives will lable them a racist, bigot, or granny killer.Operation and support mission to prevent more man made disasters.
