More Inside Trading in Washington.

614.) The Washington Post reported that Emails between Solyndra and the Obama Administration show that the Department of energy pushed Solyndra to announce layoffs after November 3, 2010.  The October 2010 emails show that the Cheif Executive of Solyndra told the Department of Energy that the company planned to announce layoffs on October 28th, 2010. However an Email sent on October 30th, 2010 advisers to one of Soylndra’s Primary investors, Argonaut Equity, explain that the Department of Energy strongly urged the company to wait to November 3rd, 2010 to make the announcement. That is what they did on November 3rd, 2010 Solyndra announced that it was laying off 40 employees, 150 contractors, and shutting down Fab 1 Factory. Now one might ask what is the big deal? Well I ask them what happened on Novemeber 2nd, 2010… The Mid Term Elections.  Of course the Administration did not want a company that recieved over half a billion dollars in tax payer money, to announce massive layoffs right before elections, thats bad politics. So the Administration abused its power to save the jobs of political allies. Nice to know that good old fashion corruption can be found in the Administration of change.

  1. This is more great proof that crass partisan politics motivates government; not helping the poor, not helping the economy, not improving medicine, not developing new energy sources, not reducing the cost and quality of education.

  2. @homealivein45 – Which is why we must no longer pass off our responsibilities as citizens to such a corrupt body. It is time that we start taking care of our neighbors, family and friends. That is why we must take back the concept of private America.  Government isn’t going to solve our problems, only we are going to solve them. We require governments absence not its help. (que the “YOU HATE ROADS” “YOU HATE FIREFIGHTER” comments, which are nothing mroe than an overexagerated gotcha attack).
