638.) So Attorney General Eric Holder has come under fire for his departments failed policy known as Fast and Furious. A video from 1995 has come up that sheds light on his life long crusade against guns, and puts Fast and Furious into new light.

In the video Mr. Holder called for the brainwashing of the American people against Guns. If you don’t believe me, here are his exact words, “We have to be repetitive about this, we need to do this every day of the week, and just really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.” Brainwashing the public, how do you feel about that? Here is a man calling for the public to be brainwashed into giving up a right guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States of America. Forget about the guns issue, focus on the fact that this man is trying to brain wash people into giving up their rights. Whats next? What if it wasn’t guns he wanted to brain wash people against, what if it was free speech, freedom of religion, freedom to assemble, a right to a fair trial, a right to a trail by jury? It is a terrifying concept.

To illustrate how bone chilling this thought can be, lets look at one of the quotes from the clip, Mr. Holder said, “What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarette”  What if you replace the word “guns” with “speaking out about the government” how does this grab you, “What we need to do is change the way in which people think about speaking out about the government, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to speak out against the government anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarette” Whether or not you like guns is irrelevant, the two  quotes are the same thing. They both call for brainwashing people into giving up their rights.

Now of course I cannot build a case against the Attorney General trying to brainwash everyone into giving up all of our rights. However this video does shed new light on operation Fast and Furious. The reckless actions of Eric Holders department resulted in hundreds of deaths including that of a U.S. Boarder Patrol Agent. I can build a case for Fast and Furious being part of  Attorney General Eric Holder’s campaign to brainwash Americans into forsaking our rights.

The simple fact of the mater is that Operation Fast and Furious was an attempt to justify more gun control. Eric Holder himself said that if their was more gun control the problem would not have happened. The issue of course being that emails between gun dealers and the ATF prove that the ATF was encouraging behavior that the dealers normally would not have partaken in.  So why would the ATF push these dealers to sell guns to people they normally would not have? Well when the Attorney General wants ad agencies, school districts, and Icons of pop culture to speak out against guns, it only makes sense that they would try to do anything in their power to fuel the fires of gun hatred.  In the congressional hearings progressives including the Attorney General tried to pin the blame on the evil gun dealers, it was not until the damning emails were released that their facade broke down.

This video is just more evidence of the big government progressive ideology that permeates the Obama Administration. One of nudging people to servant hood.

637.) President Obama’s war on religion continues. It started first with forcing the Catholic church to cast aside its moral beliefs, all because the government knows best. The assault on religion continues with this new volley fired up by the Obama administration. For the first time, the Vatican has found itself on the U.S. State Department’s list of potential money-launderers. Yes the Catholic Church is now on the same list as places like Egypt, Chile, and Albania just to name a few.

There is something that has been bugging me lately, and that is the disrespect of the American flag.  The flag is a tangible symbol to the world of the freedom represented by this great land. America is unique amongst the nations of the world, we are nation for the people by the people. Our flag is also unique, it was the first flag to represent the people of a nation, not the rulers.  It is something you show respect to.  Apparently proper flag etiquette has become a thing of the past and I feel the need to express my frustration on this issue. I was taught from a young age the proper way to treat a flag, and I to the best of my ability I have done so. It is easy to do, you just can’t be lazy. If it looks like rain, bring in your flag, lower it at night if you don’t have a light on it. As was stated earlier the flag is a tangible symbol of our nation. It flies high as a reminder of the greatness that freedom has brought to this land. It is to be raised quickly in the morning, and lowered slowly in the evening. It is to be flown at half staff only for specific reasons.

It is the over use of  lowering the flags that has me irritated. The President of the United States can order the flown at half staff. as I stated the flag is lowered to half staff for only a few situations such as after the death of the current or former President, death of the vice president, after the death of a supreme court justice, on memorial day, and if the President or your state governor of The United States orders it flown at half staff.  Your mayor, your principle, can’t order the flags flown at half staff. If someone dies in your school district you don’t fly the flag at half staff. It is something that is to be preserved as a symbol of morning and lately this tradition has been abused, reducing the impact that it once had.  It is disgraceful and needs to be stopped. For example it was well within his rights, but Governor Christy ordered the flag flown at half staff because of Whitney Houston’s death, why? What did she do for her nation? Does he order the flag flown at half staff when a soldier from New Jersey dies? It is sickening, just because your famous does not make you worthy of having the American Flag flown at half staff.

Sorry for the rant its been bugging me for a while. Cue the “your over reacting” “your a crazy right wing nut job” “shut up” comments.

636.) President Obama puts great faith in the power of his words. After the Koran burning in Afghanistan, the citizens of that nation began rioting in the street. President Obama knew just what to do, he would talk to them. He issued an apology to the Afghans for the insult. There is nothing wrong with that, but the idea that just coming out and saying that he is sorry, what good could that honestly do. Well President Obama thinks it can do a lot. He actually claimed that his apology is has helped to calm things down in the nation. While they may have stopped rioting in the streets, but murders of American soldier are up. Has the apology of the President really solved anything? I leave that up to you.
