Wow, This is low

670.) President Obama has agreed to arming the rebels in Syria, the same rebels whose leader eats the hearts and livers of his enemies. The same rebels that are supported by Al Qaeda. It is sad when Vladimir Putin can legitimately take the moral high ground, compared to the President of the United States.  We had to arm these guys though, I mean they used chemical weapons. Never mind that 98,000 people died before the chemical weapons were used. I see no reason to get involved in the struggle between a dictator, and terrorists.

Here is the video

This is what President Obama has decided to support, this is what you progressives sent back to the White House.

  1. It wasn’t okay for President Reagan to arm Jihadists to fight the Soviet Scourge and save mankind.  But it is okay for President Obama to arm a bunch of Jihadist maniacs to do only God knows what.

  2. So your crazy logic is that a soldier in an army does something evil, so anyone on the side of their military is evil and condones that soldier’s specific behavior?I remember seeing bush-era video of US soldiers driving around playing country music while randomly opening fire on civillians and shooting them off the road and another video of US soldiers laughing and throwing a puppy off a cliff just to name a few.  If you think only other countries’ soldiers do fucked up things in war zones you are naive.Wars bring out the worst in humanity, they desensitize soldiers to pain and death and soldiers dismember their enemies, rape their wives, kill kids, all kinds of horrible things.  You can’t kill people left and right and not lose a big part of your humanity.  If you still think this is a good argument that obama is evil (and not that war is) then google horrific acts performed by US soldiers.  I am sure you will find a never-ending well of horror.

  3. This connect-the-dots-to-obama stuff is the laziest form of propaganda.

  4. It is also what McCain and several other republicans have been pushing for the President to do. It’s the Syrian regime that has been using the chemical weapons. Putin is not taking the high ground here. He’s continuing to back Assad.

  6. The rebels are terrorists and are killing whole villages of Christians in Syria. here is a video of the Syrian Rebel/Al Qaeda soldiers in training, singing about killing Americans: SHOULDN’T BE SUPPORTING TERRORISTS WHO HATE THE U.S. Period.

  7. @AOK4WAY – Rooting against humanity.  I love religion.@Jenny_Wren – a) see my first comment above, and b) everyone in that part of the world hates us, we generally pick the one that serves our economic interests best (which is usually the dictator) and back them.  Either way it is wrong to paint everyone with the brush of the worst among them.  If we did that with americans it wouldn’t be pretty.

  8. @agnophilo – Funny, Israel doesn’t hate us. I don’t think we should be supporting anyone who hates us–dictator or not. Which means: we should stay out of Syria. We shouldn’t be arming the very armies who are singing about killing us. That is the whole Al Qaeda.

  9. @Jenny_Wren – “Funny, Israel doesn’t hate us. “If we were arming a brutal dictator who ruled over them or bombing them they would.  Who wouldn’t?  As it stands we are genuine friends/allies with them.  If we had been that with various other countries things would be different now.”I don’t think we should be supporting anyone who hates us–dictator or not.” It’s the lesser of two evils argument.  But I think we shouldn’t meddle.  And I think we do so for selfish reasons.”Which means: we should stay out of Syria. We shouldn’t be arming the very armies who are singing about killing us. That is the whole Al Qaeda.”I don’t know that the whole army is singing about killing us.  And I don’t think we should be arming anyone, but if there’s money in it, we’ll be doing it : (

@agnophilo – I make every effort to give you the benefit of the doubt when we talk, but there just isn’t any doubt to work with in this case. That isn’t true and you know it. Peace

  11. I think it is disgusting that we are sending money to arm these people who hate us all while our own country is drowning in debt.We really need to stop meddling in the Middle East. It only buys us hate.

  12. @agnophilo – It is not connect the dots to Obama, President Obama choose to arm the Al-Qaeda supported rebels in a fight against a dictator.  These people are not our allies, they do not like Americans, so why on God’s green earth, should we support them.  I am shocked to see that we both agree on not arming anyone.  I knew somewhere there had to be some common ground. Here is a video of these people singing about 911 @TheSutraDude – yes for whatever reason the progressives in Washington all feel the neeid to get involved with Al-Qaeda.  I personally do not feel as though we should be arming people who sing of reducing the World Trade center to rubble and have a leader who eats the heart and liver of his enemies.

  13. @obamawatch – John McCain and other republicans who are pressing Obama to arm rebels with heavy arms like anti-tank weapons are not progressives. Most liberals seem to be opposed to arming the rebels and it’s not known yet what President Obama intends to do. At the G8 Obama praised world leaders for their desire to work toward a diplomatic solution. A few weeks ago John McCain traveled to Syria to meet with rebels. Though he claims we know via the CIA which of the rebel groups are connected to Al Qaeda and which are not he posed for a photo with a group of rebels, everyone in the photo smiling. One of the rebels in the photo has been identified as a a known kidnapper who was affiliated with a terrorist group. It’s a complex situation for sure and we have a million armchair generals giving their opinions of what or what not to do. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

  14. @firetyger – The national debt is falling at the fastest pace since the years immediately following WWII. The CBO came out with a report several weeks ago that largely because of the end of Bush tax cuts and Obamacare cutting waste in the healthcare industry our debt is closing way ahead of time. Republicans in Congress have stopped bringing up the debt almost entirely since the report came out. Just thought you’d want to know that.

  15. @AOK4WAY – Yeah, you’re just cheering for the world to end thinking most people will be burning in hell forever – that’s not rooting against humanity at all…@firetyger – And cheap oil – er, I mean expensive oil.@obamawatch – You ignored my argument (which debunks your argument) entirely.  You always do though.@TheSutraDude – Do you have a link or some figures on this?  Are you saying the budget is balanced?  I think maybe you mean deficit, not debt.

  16. @agnophilo – I don’t have a link at the moment but a few weeks ago the Congressional Budget Office’s report came out. It was all over the news. I know there are links. I checked one out several weeks ago. Deficit…yes. Same thing as national debt. I used the term national debt because she used the term debt. The budget is not balanced but on track to be much faster than expected. It’s already come down to a GDP level that a year ago we were not expected to hit for several years.

  17. @TheSutraDude – The debt and the deficit are not remotely the same thing.  One is going on 20 times the size of the other.

  18. @agnophilo – Sure thing. And yes the deficit is annual, debt total accumulated over time. Still the debt is coming down more quickly than earlier projections.

  19. @TheSutraDude – The deficit is largely artificial to begin with, this means nothing when you think about it.

  20. @agnophilo – Some people believe that. Cheney said that when spending came into question while he was VP. I don’t agree but regardless, our debt is coming down in record time.

  21. @agnophilo – I agree though that during a recession the worst thing one can do is focus on bringing down the deficit. It’s like not putting gas into your car because that requires spending but then you can’t get to work. Simplistic metaphor but it makes the point.

  22. @TheSutraDude – If I spend double my income this month, then spend 1.5 times my income the next month, I’ve halved my deficit in one month.  That it didn’t take me long isn’t impressive. And it’s not like obama has the reigns of the federal budget anyway, congress does.

  23. @TheSutraDude – Ignore the obama thing, that had nothing to do with what you were saying.  And I agree, it’s not good.

  24. @agnophilo – True but if I spend double my income this month, next month and every month for the next 8 years I’m going to find myself in a big hole. True that Congress holds the purse strings but one of the two reasons the CBO cited for the debt coming down is healthcare reform which Obama had a lot to do with.

@agnophilo – You’re exposing your ignorance Mark. I am not waiting for the world to end and cheering the demise of humanity. I’m publicly expressing my loathing for those exact things; things which mankind is bringing upon itself without any help from above. I’m looking for corruption to end and mankind to live as he was meant to, in peace, in harmony with the planet we live on, and in love. That’s what is going to happen when Christ returns – soon – and that’s what I’m cheering for. I’m not applauding anyone’s death. I’m applauding everyone’s resurrection from it, and I’ve been here since 2004 doing my level best trying to help people avoid it by faith in the One who lived, was dead, and is alive forever more. Ye’shua the annointed one, the firstborn son of God among many sons. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (1Co 15:22-26)Now you can believe whatever you want to believe my man.  I’ve done my level best to communicate the truth to you. Anything that falls out when Christ returns because of the choices you make will be on your own account, not on mine. I pray here and now that this and other instances of false witness you’ve borne against me not be held accountable on that day. I forgive you in the name of the king: Ye’shua my Messiah. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, (Heb 2:10-11)Many sons my man.He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (Joh 1:10-12)Say what you will – the invitation stands.Peace
