Shelia Jackson Lee, History Impared

Shelia Jackson Lee, Democrat Representative from Texas showed the world her comprehension of American history. On March 12, 2014 Representative Lee, a graduate of Yale, and  University of Virginia Law School, had this to say, “Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a Constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not”. 400 years… so Representative Lee believes that we have been operating under the Constitution for 400 years. So According to this law school graduate, the Constitution was ratified in 1614. To put that in perspective, in 1614 James Town was the host to the wedding of Pocahontas and John Rolfe.

1614, I could almost understand if she said 1776, I could almost convince myself that a law school grad made a simple mistake. How can one graduate from Yale and not know that the Constitution of The United States was ratified September 17, 1787, which works out to 227 years ago.

Representative Lee is an embarrassment to Texas. For this she has earned a spot in the Progressive Hall of Shame

  1. Two words: affirmative action.

Quite the opposite of folks who actually learned and weren’t paid to be indoctrinated.

    • It is a shame that so many people go to school for and education, and end up just being indoctrinated into being mindless democrat voters.

      • It would probably help if the R’s didn’t stress social issues so much. Good grief! Only God knows if you’re going down under…..and I’m not talikin Australia.
