The Failures of Obamacare are Your Fault

The open enrollment period for Obamacare was extended earlier this week. Today Wednesday March 26th, 2014 Harry Reid was gracious enough to explain to us simpletons just why the Obama Administration decided to illegally delay extended the open enrollment period. According to Senator Reid, the people of this country are just too stupid to do it. It had nothing to do with the obvious design flaws of the law, the incompetence of those executing it, or the failure of the website, the extension was granted because we are just too stupid to sign up.

Senator Reid told reporters today, “We have hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up who didn’t get through. There are some people who are not like my grandchildren who can handle everything so easily on the Internet, and these people need a little extra time.” He further explained, “It’s not — the example they gave us is a 63-year-old woman came into the store and said, ‘I almost got it. Every time I just about got there, it would cut me off.’ We have a lot of people just like this through no fault of the Internet, but because people are not educated on how to use the Internet” No where in his comments does he reference the website errors.

So as I said according to Harry Reid, the open enrollment period was extended because you are just too stupid to figure out how to use that there inter-webs. It is the fault of the American People, not the government, that the sign ups did not reach their intended goal. Are there some people who had trouble getting on because they are technologically illiterate, sure, I’d bet dollars to pesos there are people who faced that issue. However, I am willing to be the majority of people who don’t know how to use computers, picked up this thing called a phone, and called the health care hotline to apply.

Every time the Soft Spoken Tyrant opens his mouth he gives shining examples of the contempt that he and his fellow progressive elitists have for the rest of the country. He could have been honest, “enrollment numbers are low, so it was decided to extend the open enrollment period, to give people who may have encountered technical difficulties a chance to sign up.” Cut the BS, and feed it to us straight.
