I would like to take this time to wish a Merry Christmas to all.

Update, and BAH!

I have a lot I want to right about, but nothing I can focus to write on. I am pissed off at a lot of things, surprisingly few of them have anything to do with politics, unless of course you count family as politics. Once I get that sorted out I will be back to my normal ranting self.

Good news though, I am getting ready to bring back my ObamaWatch posts from my old blog on Xanga. The list in its entirety will, hopefully, soon be up for your viewing very soon.

President Obama Greenlights Slaughtering Eagles

We always hear about how evil dirty conservatives want to pollute the world’s oceans, cut down all of the trees, and kill off all the endangered species. We constantly hear about how those dirty conservatives bend over backwards for the evil mustache twirling oil companies in order to make it easier for them to destroy the planet. The progressives love to drive home how conservatives would rather rape our children’s future, than give up subsidies for big oil. It is because of this continual progressive bombardment that I almost fell out of my chair when I heard what President Obama has just allowed.
President Obama, the ideal progressive, the man who is going to bring about all the progressive ideals loved by radicals and tyrants throughout the ages, has just given a massive carve out for big energy. In November of 2013 Duke Energy was fined $1,000,000 for killing 14 eagles along with 149 other birds from 2009-2013. This assault on the avian population by the wind energy only list the birds killed at Duke’s Top of The World and Campell Hill wind farms outside of Casper Wyoming. Federal Biologist announced that sense 2008 wind turbines have killed at least 67 bald and golden eagles. That number excludes the 60 eagles killed every year in the Altamont Pass in California.
Green energy is one of President Obama’s dreams. He said in his 2008 presidential campaign that he wanted to bankrupt the coal industry. So this news that a company was fined $1,000,000 for killing some silly birds, was horrible. It sets a bad precedent, green energy companies being responsible, caving in to radical unjust laws making them pay for the stupidity of an animal. What if all the wind farms behaved so responsibly? That could bankrupt the already highly inefficient wind farm industry. So President Obama, using all the power that he has just assumed onto himself (as progressive tyrants always do), announced on Friday December 6th, 2013 that it will allow some companies to continue to injure or kill bald and golden eagles for up to 30 years without penalty. This in an effort to spur the development of the highly inefficient green energy market.
This is a classic case of the corruption of President Obama’s administration. The law to President Obama is a joke. The second he was sworn in, he just decided that he was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Let the IRS run wild, let criminals run rampant on the border, let the NSA violate our most basic human rights, but bring down the full force of the federal government on anyone who dares try to enforce the law or stand in his path. President Obama has refused to hear countless cases of wind farms illegally killing birds. This case involving Duke Energy Corp. is the first such case against a wind farm prosecuted under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. A law that President Obama has quickly brought to bear against oil companies, and power companies for drowning or electrocuting birds. BP, Exxon Mobil, and PacifiCorp (which operate coal power plants) paid a combined total of $111,000,000,000 for killing between 2009 and 2010. These companies deserve the fines, and should pay them. They broke the law. President Obama has broken the law, by allowing wind farms to go unchecked, unpunished for their blatant violation of our laws.
According to the Associated Press story in 2009 PacifiCorp killed a total a 232 eagles. PacifiCorp’s death total is due to eagles flying into power lines and substation. The argument can be made that the situation surrounding PacifiCorp is no different than that of Wind Farms. Once the windmill is up there is little that can be done to prevent an eagle from flying into a turbine. The same is true for a power line, and substation. However, what I find odd here is that eagles apparently never fly into power lines or substations associated with wind farms. They must have special power lines, with special anti-eagle netting. Of course, this oddity could be due to the fact that President Obama is out to bankrupt the coal industry, and is looking for anything it can use to increase operating costs on coal fired power plants. I wonder just how high the Duke’s death toll is if you account for power line strikes?
If you look at PacifiCorp’s settlement of $10,900,000 for killing 232 eagles in 2009, that equals out to a $46,982.75 fine per bird. Duke paid a fine of $1,000,000 dollars, and that is a nice start, but the industry is still far in the whole. By looking at the eagle death toll of 67 eagles since 2008 by big wind energy, the industry as a whole should have paid $3,147,844.82 in fines, if the law is being applied equally (a rarity in President Obama’s administration). I nearly forgot about the 60 eagles killed every year in the Almont Pass in California. If you add in the $46,982.75 fine for the 300 Eagles killed by the wind farms in the Almont Pass in California, the total fine the wind industry should be paying is $17,242,669.82. But of course President Obama does not believe in justice, he believes in socialism. He does not believe in equality before the law, he believes in using the law to punish his enemies.

The long and short of this story is, President Obama has given a green light for his pet project to continue Slaughtering Eagles. For 30 years Green Energy will be allowed to kill Eagles without fear of government reprisal (something they have already been doing, for the most part). Once again, President Obama is pick and choosing how to enact our laws. If he likes you, you can do whatever you want. If he doesn’t like you, rough times lay ahead. Sure sounds like a Representative Republic to me…. wait I meant to say dictatorship.

Infamy

Today marks the 72 anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. 72 years ago the United States was thrust into World War II. 72 Years ago the United States stepped onto the world stage as a force for liberty and justice. 72 years ago, an unprovoked act of villainy awoke the sleeping giant that had lay dormant for 22 years. I speak not of American industry, but American pride and spirit. The people of this nation realized that they had a purpose in this world. They remembered that the United States of America is meant to be a shinning city upon a hill. A beacon of hope for those who have none. The might of American Industry was let lose, people banded together, and they changed the world. 72 years ago today, the Empire of Japan broad sided the United States with a sledge hammer. The American People responded, they did not lie down, they stood up. The foolish act of an imperial nation did something that 22 years of keynesian economics could never have dreamt of doing, it united a nation, and freed them from the shackles of depression.

So today I would ask everyone to search their souls. To those willing to dive into even the darkest corners of their mind, I ask them to consider the world we live in, the troubles facing our nation, and to compare them to the struggles and hardships that faced the nation 72 years ago. Our grandparents faced the worst economic crisis the nation had ever seen. fascism was on the march, the National Socialist Workers Party had turned Germany into a totalitarians state. A state that was spreading like a plague a crossed Europe. The for most super power of the world, The United Kingdom of Great Britain, tried appeasing the beast that was Nazi Germany, but all this did was wet the monsters appetite. Tyranny was on the march, the light of liberty seemed destined to be extinguished forever. Then a hostile nation managed to cripple the entire pacific fleet. They could have laid down, and accepted defeat, but no they stood up and not only snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, they spat in its face.  Our grandparents faced all of that, and brought an unprecedented era of joy and prosperity to our nation. They pulled themselves up, they stopped hoping someone would come along and save them. They realized that they had to save themselves. They decided to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and saved the world. I submit to you that when you compare our challenges today, to the disasters that they faced, ours amount to nothing. If they can do it, why can’t we. What is holding you back. Don’t wait for help, don’t wait for a hand to help you up, be the hand.

“Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 — a date which will live in infamy — the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.

Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.

It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.

The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.

Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched an attack against Malaya.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.

Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island.

And this morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island.

Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

As commander in chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.

I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.

Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.

With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph — so help us God.

I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, December 7th, 1941, a state of war has existed between the United States and the Japanese empire.

The Lonely President

Sometimes I feel bad for President Obama, after all it must be lonely being President. It seems like is put on an island all alone for months on end, only brought back to civilization to make a speech on the actions of someone else. The people in his own administration seem to refuse to speak with him, making his solitude all the more confining.
For example, the scandal that has erupted over whether or not President Obama stayed with an illegal alien while attending classes at Harvard. The name of this illegal alien, Onyango “Omar” Obama. Omar Obama happens to be President Obama’s uncle. The issue of Omar and President Obama’s relationship came to light when Omar Obama performed a rolling stop and nearly caused an accident with a police cruiser. He was subsequently was arrested for drunk driving. This incident took place in 2011, which is hard to believe seeing as Omar Obama had been ordered to leave the country by an immigration judge in 1992. It is truly hard to believe that Omar Obama was ordered to leave the country in 1992, but has held a Massachusetts driver’s license and had a social security number sense at least 1992. When Omar Obama was arrested he told the booking officer “I think I will call the White House”.
This happened in 2012, the middle of an election year. President Obama was already dealing with enough issues, a stagnant economy, sky rocketing debt, unrest in the Middle East, and a conservative movement that just refused to sit down and shut up. Then pile on top of that this news story, that his uncle who had just been arrested for drunk driving was also living in the country illegally for 20 years. His administration was quick to jump on the story. The Obama Administration quickly told reporters that President Obama did not know his uncle. End of story, the matter was handled. Unfortunately that was not the case, as Omar Obama testified in his deportation hearing on December 3rd that President Obama had stayed with him while he was attending Harvard University in the 1980s. This testimony was backed up by Omar’s landlord who also testified that President Obama had stayed there.
So here is President Obama caught up in yet another lie, how is it that this continually happens to this poor president. White House Spokesman Jay Carney had the answer for us during a press conference held on December 5th, where the administration admitted to President Obama’s having stayed with his uncle. Jay Carney said, “Back when this arose, folks looked at the record, including the president’s book, and there was no evidence that they had met and that was what was conveyed. Nobody spoke to the president.” No one even bothered to speak to President Obama on this matter? President Obama has shown himself to be highly interested in the functions of the legal system in this country. Why on earth would he not be interested in a case involving his own uncle? Surely he would be interested in knowing that a family member, even if he didn’t know them, was in trouble. That is the extent of his isolation. But fear not, for Jay Carney once again came to the rescue, “When Omar Obama said the other day, and there were reports that he said the other day, that President Obama, back when he was a law school student had stayed with him in Cambridge, I thought it was the right thing to do to go ask him.” Finally someone is going to remove President Obama from isolation. Surely he would know the best way to go forth from this point. Jay Carney continued, “Nobody had asked him in the past and he said that he in fact had met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school, that he stayed with him for a brief period of time, until his — the president’s — apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months while the president was in Cambridge and after law school they gradually fell out of touch. The president has not seen Omar Obama in 20 years and has not spoke with him in roughly 10 years” Proof positive that it is not President Obama who lies, it is his hapless administration. The blithering idiots who run the White House are to blame, not President Obama. If they would simply go to him for guidance, and use his wisdom, the countless scandals that have rocked the Obama Administration would not have happened.
Unfortunately the above narrative, is nothing more than a fable. Something constructed by the Administration to shield President Obama from the consequences of the truth escaping from its prison. In his 1995 book, “Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance” President Obama makes reference to an Uncle Omar, a man who shares the same birthday as Onyango as well as background. President Obama goes on in the book to discuss a Kenyan expression, getting lost, which means to not see someone in a while, or to move away and stop communicating “like our Uncle Omar, in Boston”. Wait a minute, I thought Jay Carney said that they check the record, and President Obama’s book, I am sure of it, his exact words were “Back when this arose, folks looked at the record, including the president’s book, and there was no evidence that they had met.” Yet his book talks about an Uncle Omar, who live in Boston, and has the same birthdate as Onyango “Omar” Obama. The sir name Obama is not a very common one here in America, and I cannot imagine it is any more common in the area surrounding Boston. So what are the odds that there is a man with the sir name Obama that also shares the same birthday and back ground as President Obama’s uncle? There is no way that the Obama Administration is that incompetent.
The more likely story in this case, is the most obvious. President Obama was gearing up to run for re-election when this story broke. President Obama was already having a hard enough time being able to contain the failures of his first term in office. He did not need yet another scandal hanging over his dead. President Obama is a man who puts ideology above all else. He is a man who believes that the ends do justify the means. He is a man who is willing to throw a family member under the bus in order to insure the future of agenda. The plain and short of it is that President Obama hoped that he could have people in his administration say, “I don’t know him” and that would be the end of it, the press would make sure that this story never came to light.
Okay so the story about his uncle is not a great example of President Obama being isolated from the world. However, my next story is. In the run up to the launch of healthcare.gov President Obama went on a campaign trip to drum up excitement and support. He told the American People that buying health insurance would be as easy as making a reservation on Kayak. October 1st rolled around, and the massive Obamacare failure began. President Obama went in front of the American People and professed his frustration about the failings of the website, and claimed that he did not know about the issues plaguing the website. This is clearly an example of his being isolated from the outside world. How could his administration let him go in front of the American People so unprepared? They clearly let him down. You see in the 1,287 days from the passage of Obamacare to the opening of healthcare.gov on October 1st, 2013 President Obama was only able to meet with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sibelius one time. How could he organize his signature piece of legislation, if he was only able to have one meeting with the woman in charge of implementing it? Again, it is clear that President Obama has not failed, it is the bumbling band of blithering idiots in his administration.
Unfortunately this too is a complete fable. President Obama was not “kept in the dark”. From March 23rd, 2010, to November 30th, 2013 President Obama had 277 meetings with 16 other cabinet secretaries. According to USA Today by December 30th, 2010 President Obama had played 57 rounds of golf during the year that is a game a week. Only one of those games took place prior to the passage of Obamacare. In fact President Obama played 118 rounds of golf from March 23rd, 2010 and October 1st, 2013. With an average round of golf taking about three and a half hours, President Obama chose to spend 413 hours, or about 17 days on the golf course. Is it possible that if President Obama had elected to spend time in his office, rather than out playing golf, he might have been able to make time to meet with Kathleen Sibelius, or is golf more important than the legislation that will be his enduring legacy? How many speeches has President Obama given trying to sell the American People on Obamacare? How many times has he “hit the road” to pitch Obamacare to the American People? Perhaps if he had used the time he spent campaigning, to actually do some governing he might have known that Obamacare was going to be a dismal failure.
The truth is President Obama did not care about the obamacare launch. He purposefully distanced himself from it, so that he could be just as shocked when it failed. He could be just as outraged. He could be right there with you, hand in hand, demanding accountability and an answer. He would be perfectly positioned to say, “We tried to fix the private healthcare system. It is time for socialized healthcare”.
I feel bad for President Obama, he believes that if he acts like he is out of the loop, he somehow will be able to remain unattached to his failed agenda, and radical policies. Unfortunately those tactics no longer work. With the technological age, the lies and schemes of radical progressives are much easier to reveal for the scams that they truly are. You, the American People are not the ignorant imbeciles President Obama and the rest of progressive view you as. You are capable of making your own way in this world, and without the gate keepers of old (the main stream media), it is near impossible for them to keep you in the dark. In this modern age, it is possible for us to share our thoughts, and make known when President Obama is trying to pretend like his uncle, who took him in and let him stay in his home, was some estranged relative. We can make known the fact that he played games, rather than do his job. We can reveal that these people are nothing but arrogant thugs. I truly feel bad for President Obama, he might have been successful at implementing his radical agenda, had it not been for technology liberating the flow of information.

GEORGE W. LAW PROFESOR: OBAMA’S “BECOMING THE VERY DANGER THE CONSTITUTION WAS DESIGNED TO AVOID”

President Obama acts as if he is a tyrant. Progressive’s believe he is all powerful. It is good to hear a professor, who is not a radical extremists, bring to light the dangers posed by President Obama and his dangerously radical agenda.
